- Volga is the dragon who lives in Eldin Volcano.
- He lived with a tribe of Lizalfos, Dinoflos, and assorted other cave-monsters (including a pair of King Dodongo). They're kinda like his army
- On neutral terms with the gorons in the area - they could mine there, he wouldn't bother them, they wouldn't bother him.
- Didn't want to get involved in human business. But also didn't mind that one of his lizalfos was planning on cooking and eating a human.
- Cia beat up his army/tribe in effort to get him to work for her.
- Volga still said no, so she brainwashed him.
- Apparently she found it easier to convince him he existed to find strong enemies than to swear eternal loyalty to her.
- Becomes a general in Cia's army.
- GAME EVENTS: he is brainwashed into WANT TO FIGHT STRONG at this time
- Started kidnapping fairies because they're goody-goodies, ends up fighting Link, backs off after Link protects himself and Impa with the trifoce of courage.
- Helps Zant beat up Midna, then beats up Zant because he's a dumb.
- Helps Skyloft humans beat back Ghirahim (begrudgingly, :/ over helping humans, and the lie), then when Ghirahim figures it out, turns on Skyloft.
- Stays in Skyloft to support Ghirahim, until Link and Fi get there and beat him up. (with help. again)
- He stays with Cia in the Valley of the Seers, even when she starts going crazy and Wizzro betrays them for Ganondorf. He even tries to take down Ganondorf on his own, but is ultimately tricked.
- Cia eventually pours Dark Power into him, which drives him to screaming in pain, but is much stronger for it.
- Zelda talks him into forcing the dark power out of himself. He then continues to fight Link and the rest.
- He beaten down by the heroes, shortly before Cia dies.
Now for the random things-
- That is his hair sticking from that helm. He has bangs as well, and it's probably that he has fire gradient hair (so blond tips on his bangs too). assorted hair styles and grumpy face dragon Sadly that is not a fancy beard and just part of his helm.
- That blackness to his face is some sort of marking. Like a tattoo, only he's a dragon so he probably just went "eh, I want that there when I shift to human looking"
- He has eyes. His helm just makes them really hard to see. They're the same bright blue-green color as his eyes when he's a dragon, complete with slit pupils. HC: He has black sclera, which makes them even harder to spot. When he starts to lose control over the shape, the iris expands over the rest of the eye.
- hc: He's decently human, under all that armor. He naturally has thicker finger and toe nails, already pointed like claws. It's harder for him to grow armoring scales, but he can do so.
- HC: the more he leans on draconic traits and powers, the more he rages, the more draconic his human shape gets. Teeth slowly form into fangs, gets proper claws, scales form, irises expand, forked tongue (although it is a small fork), body temperature skyrockets. This includes straight up rage slipping him into more of a dragon, as well as excessive fire breathing and partial shape shifting.
- At-will shapeshifting. He wants a claw to better crush some fool? Sure. Wants wings because this is a pain and he'd rather leave? No problem. Clawed feet for better traction? Of course.
- small points to his ears, at least when most human-y (rather than giant elfy hyrulean ears). Fit better in the helm anyway.
- HC: Space heater. Even when he isn't breathing fire or lighting himself on fire, he radiates heat. Heat can increase at will, or when he's pissed.
- Breathing fire ranges from tiny puffs of sunburn to THAT IS A STREAM OF BLUE FLAME NEAR HIS MOUTH OH GOD.
- Obviously, he's fireproof in both forms. Extends to volcanic heat for at least moderate durations.
- HC: Yes there is a hoard, it is probably at least half weapons. He considered adding Wizzro's ring for about two minutes until he realized then he would be stuck with Wizzro. Not worth it.
- Pretty great sense of smell, even as a human. He could smell the power on Cia. HC: His vision as a human might be in need of some help. More movement than detail.
- HC: Where his scales will form - edges of ears, hands, feet, shoulders, etc, he has what looks like patches of freckles. They don't feel like freckles, because they're tiny baby scales.
